Antelope Island

Before we said "farewell" to Utah, we took one last family camping trip. This time we went to Antelope Island on the Great Salt Lake, a new location for us. The views were beautiful and we had a great time... but it had the most unbelievable wind coming off of the water! I thought we were all going to blow away. In the morning we got up and went for a drive, and saw a herd of buffalo and some other wildlife. It made for some good memories!

2 more weeks!

We made it down to Arizona--I can't believe we have been here for over a week already. Time has flown by and sometimes it feels like there just isn't enough in one day! I met with my new OBGYN on Friday and we set the date for my c-section... Tuesday, June 16th! It is fun to have the date set. I was a little bummed to find out that we could have actually scheduled it as early as the 8th if I wanted to! But, it's more important that my mom is out here for the delivery (she doesn't get here until the 12th) so I figured I'd sacrifice carrying this baby around for another 8 days :)

We are trying to explain to Jax that there is another baby on teh way. I don't think he really understands what is going on but I'm excited to see how he reacts. I think he's going to be very "helpful" and a great big brother.

The unpacking process is coming very slowly, and I've been so tired that any attempt to hit the ground running has resulted in me just hitting the ground. I've been so proud of Eli--he doesn't have a job yet and so he has been putting in all of this time and effort into doing little (and big) projects around the house. He's pulled an unreal amount of weeds (foreclosures tend to deliver bulk amounts of weeds, luckily for us), switched out all of the locks around the house, trimmed our bushes, unpacked boxes, and so on and so on. All while taking care of me and Jax. He's doing such a great job... I love that he's such a handy man!

Once we get some boxes put away I'll post some pictures of the house. We're having a great time! We are still in "la-la land", totally unable to believe that we are actually in Arizona and in our own house. We have some great neighbors and a great ward. So far, so good!
